This Privacy Policy describes how ChartBridge ("we", "our", or "the extension") handles your information when you use our Chrome browser extension for trading on Binance Futures via TradingView.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide

When using ChartBridge, you voluntarily provide the following information:

• Binance API Credentials: Your Binance API Key and API Secret for executing trades
• Trading Parameters: Entry prices, stop loss levels, take profit targets, risk percentages, and margin settings
• Account Preferences: Quote currency preferences (e.g., USDT, USDC)

1.2 Automatically Generated Data

• Trade History: Records of your executed trades including symbol, side (LONG/SHORT), quantity, prices, leverage, timestamps, and execution status
• TradingView Data: Ticker symbols and exchange names extracted from TradingView chart pages you visit

2. How We Store Your Data

All data is stored locally on your device. ChartBridge uses Chrome's chrome.storage.local API to store all information directly in your browser. This means:

• Your API credentials never leave your computer except when making authorized requests to our backend service or Binance
• Your trade history is stored only on your device
• No data is stored on our servers or any third-party databases
• Data persists only as long as the extension is installed

3. How We Use Your Data

Your information is used solely for the following purposes:

• Trade Execution: API credentials are transmitted to our backend service (cb-be.replikanti.xyz) via HTTPS to authenticate with Binance and execute your trades
• Position Calculation: Trading parameters are used to calculate position sizes, risk amounts, and leverage based on your account balance
• Price Fetching: API credentials are used to retrieve current market prices and account balance from Binance
• User Experience: Preferences and trade history are used to populate the extension UI and provide quick access to past trades

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

4.1 Our Backend Service

ChartBridge uses a backend service hosted at https://cb-be.replikanti.xyz to:

• Act as a secure intermediary between the extension and Binance Futures API
• Validate and execute bracket orders (entry + stop loss + take profit)
• Retrieve account balances and leverage information

Important: Our backend does NOT store your API credentials or any personal data. All requests are processed in real-time and no logs containing sensitive information are persisted.

4.2 Binance

Your API credentials are used to communicate with Binance Futures API to:

• Retrieve your account balance
• Fetch current market prices
• Execute market, stop loss, and take profit orders
• Query maximum leverage limits for trading pairs

4.3 TradingView

ChartBridge runs on TradingView pages to extract ticker symbols and exchange information from the page URL and title. No data is sent to TradingView.

4.4 No Other Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with any other third parties, advertisers, or analytics services.

5. Data Security

We implement security measures to protect your information:

• HTTPS Encryption: All communication between the extension and our backend uses TLS/SSL encryption
• No Server-Side Storage: API credentials are never persisted on our servers
• Local Storage Only: All sensitive data remains on your device using Chrome's secure storage API
• API Key Permissions: We recommend using Binance API keys with futures trading permissions only (no withdrawal permissions)

6. Your Rights and Choices

6.1 Access and Deletion

• View Your Data: All stored data is visible within the extension's settings and history views
• Delete Your Data: You can clear your trade history using the "Clear History" button in the extension
• Remove All Data: Uninstalling the extension will permanently delete all locally stored data

6.2 Modify Settings

You can update your API credentials, quote currency, risk percentage, and other settings at any time through the extension's settings panel.

7. Data Retention

Data is retained as follows:

• API Credentials: Stored locally until you manually update or remove them, or uninstall the extension
• Trade History: Stored locally indefinitely until you clear it manually or uninstall the extension
• Trading Parameters: Persisted in local storage until modified or the extension is uninstalled

8. Children's Privacy

ChartBridge is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
